Happy Valentine's Day! Celebrate by bringing your significant other to the Tucson Swing Dance Club for a great evening of dancing fun!

By now most of you have renewed your membership, and for that I thank you very much! There is responsibility as a result of your renewal, and that responsibility is to go out into the community of Tucson, letting people know what a great dance club TSDC is! You should assist with the recruitment of new members and invite guests to attend our dance classes and other club events! You know how we love guests!

We are in election mode and hopefully those of you interested in becoming the club's next President, Vice-President, Corporate Secretary, and/or Treasurer took advantage of the nomination meeting and formally submitted your name. If you missed it, you can still campaign as a write in candidate! So, you see, it's never too late!

Club bylaws are being revised. Notices of these revisions will be released using a good faith effort through the usual club media formats. The changes will be voted on in April, in a Board meeting that everyone is encouraged to attend. A membership mass mailing of the revisions is an option. However, the cost makes it an unlikely avenue of action. Revisions will be submitted between now and that April Board meeting.

Lastly, in response to interest in making donations to the Club, the Board is looking into the establishment of a foundation that will open a channel for such transactions to take place. Donations will be tax deductible! Stay tuned for further developments.
